Dataset description
The electoral circuit file shows the municipalities’ division into voting circuits in connection with the election. The municipal and county council elections 2019 will be carried out based on the municipal division that comes into force from 1.1.2020. The electoral circuit file will therefore contain major changes from the previous version. Each voter will have characteristics that show the municipality number in 2020. The file will be available as a nationwide file.
When counting votes, the municipality may choose to merge several smaller voting circles into a common counting circuit. Counting circuits are entered in this file, which is final constituency file, version from August 2nd.
