Dataset description

The area statistics show the extent (stated in square kilometres) for counties, municipalities and subdivisions divided into different area types such as sea surface, lake, forest, cultivated land, agglomeration, etc., as of 01.01.2022. The land use statistics are established on the basis of the administrative border database ABAS and the nationwide map database on a scale 1:50 000 called N50 Map Data.
