Loose masses simplified map (N1000)

The dataset contains the theme soils and shows the loose mass distribution for the whole of Norway. The scale is 1:1 million. As a basis, all available Quaternary Geological maps are used on more detailed scales, and in other areas aerial interpretation was carried out with field control along the main roads. In updated version 3 (2013), flat-themed soils remain unchanged from the first release in 1990, while the line themes randmores and boxes are supplemented and updated by reviewing newer maps and aerial images (www.norgeibilder.no / www.norgei3D.no).
