Dataset description

The main map series covers the Norwegian coast from the Swedish border to Grense-Jakobselv. The main charts consist of 143 nautical charts on a scale 1:50 000 (with a few exceptions). They are often equipped with map sections (specials) on larger scales of narrow waters and harbors. The main map series is primarily a navigation map for coastal areas.
