Nordic Student Survey, 2013

This dataset is taken from the Nordic Student Survey on student mobility in Finland, Norway and Sweden. The survey was conducted by CIMO, SIU and UHR in the spring of 2012. CIMO, SIU and UHR are all national agencies for learning programmes with the aim of promoting internationalisation in education. The project’s goal is an increased understanding of the driving forces behind student mobility, with a background in political prioritisation of international student mobility. The collaborative project focuses, among other things, on background factors, ambitions and areas of study that characterise mobile and less mobile students, factors that influence motivation and barriers to mobility, as well as experiences from the exchange period. The target group is students in the last year of bachelor’s or master’s degrees at higher education institutions in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
