Dataset description

Kommunvise map layers in the dataset Soilsmonn showing the potential of the area for growing potato without the use of artificial irrigation. Land figures by type of soil. About half of Norway’s full-grown and surface-grown soils are mapped, with emphasis on South-Eastern Norway, Trøndelag and Jæren. In some places, inland pastures are also mapped. The map layer is made on a scale 1:5000 and is adapted for use on scales from 1:5000 to 1:20 000. The property to be used to produce the chart layer is called DK_POTET_N.
