Dataset description
The data set contains location-based information about species observed or found in Norway. The findings follow the Darwin Core Archive data standard (see http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/ for details). The data set also contains information on the species’ Red List category (information about the species is threatened or redlisted) and alien species category (information on the ecological risk of species).
The data set is continuously updated and contains over 23 million discoveries of 32,200 different species as of September 2016.
