Activity of Requests for Prior Evaluation of Medicines for Hospital Use

Monitor activity related to the evaluation of applications for prior evaluation of medicinal products for hospital use. Assess and/or assess the evolution of the department’s activity with regard to requests for prior evaluation. **Metrics:** * **applications for Authorised Prior Assessment** \- Number of evaluation applications classified by generic, new active substance and new therapeutic indication (medicines already funded and available in hospitals), granted by the government member responsible for health; * **requests for Prior Evaluation Submitted** \- Number of evaluation applications submitted by the Marketing Authorisation Holders for authorisation for use by hospitals of the National Health Service; * **average completion time** \- Average evaluation time, considering the number of working days from the submission of the application by the Marketing Authorisation Holder to its completion (Deferred, Referred or Archived), excluding the time allocated to the Marketing Authorisation Holder; **Extraction date:** 10 May 2018.
