Amadora for its socio-economic reality, metropolitan position and strategic ambition aims to assert itself externally as an open, competitive and inclusive city. For this “Amateur in Numbers” fulfills the objective of disseminating information by providing a multifaceted view of the city and is aimed at the citizens, the Portuguese and the Europeans. Based on baseline data and indicators organised in areas such as the environment, people, economic activities and state, disaggregated into dimensions: Environment, Population, Education, Culture and Sport,Health, Labour Market, Social Protection, Purchasing Power, Company and Establishments, International Trade, Energy, Construction and Housing, Transport, Tourism, Monetary and Financial Sector, Science and Technology, Local Administration. The reference years range from 2008 to 2014.
