Track the Index-ICARO
The ICARO Index is a numerical measure of the potential risk that high environmental temperatures have for the health of the population and may lead to death. Compares the deaths predicted by the statistical model underlying the ICARO surveillance system, with the expected deaths without the effect of extreme temperatures. The ICAR Index takes values greater than or equal to zero and corresponds to a relative excess of risk.
