Daily Gas Consumption Diagram

The consumption corresponds to all natural gas consumed daily in mainland Portugal. It is divided into two main market segments: Electric market, which corresponds to the natural gas consumed by combined cycle power plants for electricity production and Conventional Market, which corresponds to the natural gas of domestic and industrial consumption. In turn, the Conventional Market is divided into three categories: Grms — Distribution, which corresponds to the gas delivered to the GRMS for consumption in the Distribution Networks, Customers High Pressure, which corresponds to the gas delivered in the GRMS for consumption of customers connected directly to the High Pressure Network, and also UAG — Autonomous Gasification Units, which corresponds to the gas consumed from units that are not directly connected to the pipeline. The gas day is defined as the period from 5 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. on the following day.
