Douro PGRH — RH3 — Base Report — Master Document

This report constitutes the Programme of Measures of the Hydrographic Basin Management Plan, integrated in the Douro River Region (RH3). The Programme of Measures that is documented here has been drawn up in accordance with adenominated Water Law (Law No. 58/2005, of 29 December) and Ordinance No 1284/2009, of 19 October, which complements it. On the basis of these two acts, the measures were classified according to the typification provided for in Ordinance No 1284/2009 of 19 October 2009, including basic measures, additional measures and additional measures. In addition, additional measures were also considered to be those provided for in the articles 32 to 43 of Law No 58/2005, of 29 December for the protection and valorisation of water resources whose scope is not covered by Ordinance No 1284/2009 of 19 October, as are those relating to the prevention and protection against the risks of floods and floods, droughts and serious accidents of disruption of hydraulic infrastructure.
