Financial support under the Lisbon Municipality Allocation Regulation (RAAML)

Taking into account the principles of legality and transparency, a Regulation on Allocation of Support by the Municipality of Lisbon — RAAML — was adopted in 2008 to ensure fairness and control in the allocation of such support, whether financial or non-financial. These support results from municipal attributions and policies in the field of cultural, social, recreational, sporting or other development and are intended to support entities dedicated to the promotion of the well-being and quality of life of the population, through the implementation of programs, projects or activities that pursue the municipal interest. Legally existing entities and bodies may apply to these support, namely Associations, Foundations Private Social Solidarity Institutions or other entities that pursue purposes of municipal public interest.
