General State Account — Expenditure by functional classification

Given the change in the Functional Classifier, and taking into account that the new classifier only entered into force with the State Budget for 2021, data with this classifier will only be made available with the 2021 General State Account in May 2022. From the General Account of the State (CGE) for 2021, the CGE is delivered to the Assembly of the Republic by the 15th of May of the year following which it reports. The respective data are made available during the month following that delivery, i.e. in the course of June. The sources of the data are the systems of the DGO. The data are presented from a consolidated and public accounting perspective, i.e. they cover the expenses payable in the year. The data cover all public entities integrated into the perimeter of the Central Administration each year.
