General State Account — Public Administration Indicators in National Accounting

From the General Account of the State (CGE) for 2021, the CGE is delivered to the Assembly of the Republic by the 15th of May of the year following which it reports. The respective data are made available during the month following that delivery, i.e. in the course of June. The data sources are the systems of the Directorate-General for Budget, the Directorate-General for Local Authorities, the Regional Budget Directorates, Social Security, the National Statistics Institute, among others. The data are presented from a consolidated and national accounts perspective, which reflect a set of accrual adjustments and other substance adjustments to public accounting data. The data report information related to Public Administrations, i.e. Central Administration, Regional Administration, Local Administration and Social Security.
