Land Use and Occupation Letter — COS 2018 — RDF — Cross-Forest Project — Land Use Land Cover Map — COS 2018 — RDF — Cross-Forest Project

This spatial data set, produced by DGT (Directorate-General for Territory), represents the thematic mapping of land use and land use for mainland Portugal for the year 2018 and was prepared to be made available as Linked Open Data (LOD) in RDF format under the Cross-Forest project. The COS is a polygon cartography with defined minimum cartographic unit (1 ha) with distance between lines equal to or greater than 20 m. The COS is based on photo-interpretation and has a nomenclature of more than 80 classes. The limits of COS2018 at the border with Spain are those of the Official Administrative Charter of Portugal (CAOP) version 2018 and on the sea side are defined by photo-interpretation.
