Dataset description

Main river basins, reported to the European Commission under Article 3 of the WFD, taking into account the changes resulting from the comparative analysis between the information from Ecrins (EEA proposal) and that of Article 3 of the WFD, which identified a section of river that was classified as river Sor and was River Sorraia. Consequently, this amendment entailed correcting the main drainage basins of the corrected sections. The AREA fields are filled with the values of the area in mainland Portugal, not covering the area of the basin in Spanish territory.
