Dataset description
The document includes a short national socio-economic framework, followed by a chapter updating the macroeconomic scenarios presented for the first time in the 2013 REA. The central component of the Report consists of seven chapters that briefly describe 32 indicators:Economy and environment;
Energy and transport; Air and climate;
Water;
Soil and Biodiversity;
Waste and Environmental Risks.
Finally, a chapter that seeks to identify in Portugal evidence of the evolution of two heavy trends analysed by the European Environment Agency since 2010 is included:
intensifying global competition for resources and increasingly serious consequences of climate change.
