Published annually by the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), with the collaboration of other public administration bodies, the State of the Environment Report has been prepared since 1987 and aims to evaluate the state of the environment in Portugal, recognising the main progress and constraints in this area, and identifying the country’s position vis-à-vis the objectives and goals assumed.
