Dataset description

The Portuguese Environment Agency intends to organise, in a database GIS, spatial noise data, made available in the form of digital maps and bases geographical areas by the municipalities and the managing bodies of the major infrastructures of transport (GIT), with the aim of making information available to the public. To this end, it was defined the data structure of the GIS database to be constituted, as well as a set specific data validation and conversion procedures, which is recommended observe for the organisation of the noise data to be delivered to the APA.
