Dataset description

The Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (H2020), implemented by the European Commission as of 2014, funded thousands of projects (31 116 projects, data from December 2020). Of these, only 16 744 (46 %) mentioned a website related to the project. Arquivo.pt used the information made available on the CORDIS portal (https://cordis.europa.eu/projects) to identify, collect and make available for research purposes the Websites and other content related to the projects. In addition, Arquivo.pt continued to identify websites relating to projects that did not mention web addresses. Activities, results and other publications relating to projects are published on the web, even if their authors do not refer to them. Through an automatic methodology, applied in 2016 to the Framework Programmes, new H2020 web content was identified and collected in the first quarter of 2021.
