Management Plan OF THE HYDROGRAPHICAL REGION OF THE WEST Rivers — RH4 — Technical Report — Extensive Version Part 1 — Frameworks and General Aspects The present version of the River Basin Plan of the West Ribeiras (PBH Ribeiras do Oeste) materialises one of the main products of the water resources planning project that started in May 2010 and was promoted by ARH do Tejo, I.P. It should be noted that the river basins of the rivers of the West are integrated in the Hydrographic Region 4 (Vouga, Mondego, Lis and Ribeiras do Oeste). The technical work was developed for the five contractual thematic areas: inland surface water resources, underground water resources, coastal water resources, economic analysis and strategic environmental assessment and public participation.
