Dataset description
Study of INAG Delimitation of the flood surface in the Ponsul River,for a return period of 100 years, in the area of the Natural Park of the Tagus International (PNTI). The adjacent zones were determined on the basis of the centenary flood flow (1 188 m³/s), obtained through HEC-HMS associated with the Soil Conservation Service unit hydrogram methodology, and cross-sectional profiles in critical sections.Referring to the implementation of the HEC-RAS and HEC-GeoRAS programmes, the flood surface quotas were obtained for each section, with which the flood zone was limited.
