eGISpat — Map of Historical Monuments in Romania

The Romanian Historical Monuments Map (eGISpat) is a complex database of real estate heritage records, which stores, analyses and correlates multiple types of data, spatial, non-spatial, cartographic, photographic, etc., in order to obtain the necessary information to substantiate decisions in administration, restoration, conservation and valorisation of the real estate. For information on the list of historical monuments and their location on the map, it can be viewed and used by the general public in the form of an interactive online application, with possibilities to search for a historical monument according to the criteria: LMI Code 2010, locality, address, date, selection by county criterion, as well as navigation and identification directly on the map using specific tools. Monuments, assemblies and historical sites are represented as polygon vector perimeters, placed on geographical coordinates. Legend allows loading or downloading from the map by ticking the thematic layers that make up it: LMI (warning that in the respective locality there are objectives listed in the LMI), Ensembles, Monuments, Sites, Inventory, Roads, Rivers, Communities, counties, localities, each with its distinctive representation.
