Birth defects in the population

Birth defects in the population are important indicators of the health status of the population. The publication table output contains data on the absolute and relative (incidence) of the number of children with congenital defect in a given year, by organ disability (diagnosis groups of Chapter XVII and other registered diagnoses of MKCH-10), as well as by the frequency of individual congenital defects. Most indicators in children are classified according to the mother’s territory of residence. It also provides information on the development of newly diagnosed birth defects in children per year (incidence).
