Dataset description

The standardisation of geographical nomenclature is defined according to the adopted terminology as a set of measures that ensure a uniform form of geographical names and their binding use. Geographical names are standardised according to the principles set out in the Instruction for Standardisation of Geographical Nomenclature in accordance with the rules of Slovak spelling, on the basis of the current level of knowledge and on the basis of international standardisation principles.
