Dataset description

Summary information on forests of the SR (SISL) is an elaboration containing aggregated data on the state and development of forests of the Slovak Republic. They are processed from the data of valid Forest Care Programmes (PSL), which are renewed annually to 1/10 of the area of forest land of the Slovak Republic (PSL with expired validity). In addition to PSL data, SISL also processes data on economic measures carried out in the year. The entry document is the registration statements, which are drawn up and submitted for processing by all forest managers each year.
