Dataset description
Statistics of the seventy-fourth monitoring of the implementation of the planned completion of the denationalisation process (for administrative units and ministries at the 1st and 2nd stages of decision-making) as at 31. 3. 2021.
In the last trimester (from 31. 12. 2020 to 31. 3. In 2021), the number of cases finally closed before the administrative units remained unchanged (38,3884 finally closed out of 38,417 cases), while the total number of pending cases decreased from 60 to 56.
The proceedings shall be fully completed, with all cases finally closed, by 31. 3. In 2021, 29 administrative units were completed. At the first stage of decision-making, all cases have been closed by 5 administrative units, namely UE Domžale, Ribnica, Ruše, Šmarje pri Jelšah and Tolmin, which have some cases in the appeal.
The Ministry of Culture, which decides at first instance on the denationalisation of objects protected under the regulations on the protection of cultural heritage, has a further 19 pending cases at first instance and 6 cases in the appeal, while the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, which decides at first instance on the recovery of property protected under the regulations on nature conservation, has two pending cases at first instance and 3 cases in the appeal.
A total of 39,714 denationalisation claims were submitted to all administrative bodies at the first instance of decision-making (administrative units, MK, MKGP, MOP and MF), of which 39,597 cases were finally closed, representing 99.7 % of the total number of cases submitted.
117 cases remain pending, of which there are 77 pending cases at first instance, and a total of 40 cases are pending in the appeal at second instance and at the administrative and supreme courts.
The second-instance ministries resolved 15 denationalisation cases over a period of three months.
A total of 19 denationalisation cases are pending in the second instance.
