Activities of the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia in the process of its transformation, 1991

The survey on the positions of deputies on the functioning of the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia gives an insight into the positions of deputies regarding certain fundamental elements of parliamentaryism in the country in transition and within the institution that is in the process of its transformation. In this way, the perception of the representation of interests, which is one of the fundamental components of the parliamentary mandate, is observed in more detail, as well as the entire structure of the functioning of the parliament with the functioning of the working bodies at the head. The aim of the research is to find out how deputies percipat the role and functioning of the working bodies of the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, the role of the working bodies in the assembly decision-making, the relationship between the working bodies of the Assembly and government departments, the role of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in the decision-making process, the connection of deputies, the relationship between the position and the opposition, interest groups and political parties. Particular attention is also paid to the opinions of Members on the amendments of the Assembly.
