Density of public road network by region since 1990

Data on the density of the public road network in the time series from 1990 onwards are compiled in an Excel file containing spreadsheets and PivotTables. Definition of: The length of a road is the sum of the lengths of the sections to which they belong, according to the type of section. — The length of roads without connections includes sections of type A and O. — The length of roads with connections includes sections of type A, C, O and P. — Other types of sections (V, D and R) are not to be counted against the length of roads. Methodology: all roads (AC and HC, GC and RC) without connections. A summary of the lengths of public roads (state and municipal) is followed by worksheets: — Regions with public road network density (time series from 1990 onwards) — Municipalities with lengths of national and municipal roads (by type of road for the last year) — Rotation table of the length of public roads by municipality, type of road and type of section for the last year, — Table showing the lengths of public roads by municipalities and regions with summary table for the last year.
