A digital model of heights is a description of the relief in the form of a model, where the heights of the relief are given for each node of a square grid.
The model is run as the Digital relief model of Slovenia and the Digital Height Model with a grid cell size of 5 x 5 m (DMV5).
The digital model of the relief of Slovenia was made from various geodetic data, using the method of weighting together resources with geomorphological corrections. It was produced in 2001-2005 and is available as a model in a square grid with cell sizes 12.5 m, 25 m and 100 m (DMV 12.5, DMV 25 and DMV 100).
The DMV5 was produced in 2006 and was then renewed in parallel with the cyclical aerial photography of Slovenia (CAS) and the production of orthophotos until 2014. In addition to the data from cyclical aerobic recording, some other data were used to produce the model.
