Dataset description

Number of days in the vegetation season of the year with a water deficit greater than 60 %. On a day when the SWD index is higher than 60, it means that the plant has only 40 % of the water that would theoretically need that day, so this means dry conditions. Two indicators are isolated: NDSWD means the number of days in a period exceeding the drought estimate at the swd60 and the MDSWD index the longest consecutive number of drought days at swd60. Data are collected in 30 annual periods 2011-40, 2041-70 and 2071-2100 and for scenarios RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5. The data are the results of the Climate Change Assessment by the end of the 21st century (ARSO).
