Dataset description
This Eurobarometer survey performance differs from the standard Eurobarometer indicators. Respondents answer questions within the following main topics: humanitarian aid, domestic violence against women and mental well-being. In the first set of questions, respondents replied about their level of awareness of the organisations that finance and provide humanitarian aid, how well they are familiar with humanitarian aid activities and the importance of financing these activities outside the European Union. Subsequently, respondents were asked about awareness and proximity to domestic violence, their perception of domestic violence, including some potential reasons for its prevalence, and whether they felt that legislative measures on domestic violence should be taken. The last set of questions asks respondents about the level of mental health in the last four weeks, including their positive and negative feelings, absence of work, physical health, emotional problems, the level of comfort at work, the use of antidepressants and the perception of others who have mental health problems. The demographic strand includes questions about the respondent’s age, gender, citizenship, marital status, occupation, education, household size, possession of a fixed or mobile phone, financial situation, social situation, Internet use, type and size of settlement, and region of residence.
