Eurobarometer 74.1

This Eurobarometer survey performance differs from the standard Eurobarometer indicators. The respondents initially answer questions related to poverty and social exclusion. They are asked by their definition of poverty, the extent and trends of growth or decline in poverty in their area, the social and personal causes of poverty and homelessness and the negative consequences of poverty. Respondents also answer questions about their own risk of poverty, redistribution of wealth, minimum acceptable living standards and the level of homelessness in their field. Other main topics concern mobile phone use, the financial and economic crisis, and international trade. The demographic strand includes questions about the respondent’s age, gender, citizenship, marital status, occupation, education, household size, possession of a fixed or mobile phone, financial situation, social situation, Internet use, type and size of settlement, region of residence, political self-determination of left-right and survey language.
