Dataset description
In accordance with Article 12 of the Rules on the Protection of Forests (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 114/2009), the Forest Service of Slovenia shall, in the context of the drawing up of forest management plans, carry out a classification of forests according to the fire risk levels in accordance with the method set out in Annex 2 to the Rules.
For the planning of forest fire protection measures, forests are classified into four levels of fire risk, namely:
Level 1 fire hazard: very high threat;
Level 2 of fire hazard: high threat;
Level 3 of fire hazard: the medium risk;
Level 4 of fire hazard: it’s a small threat.
