Dataset description
The EU INDEX survey was conducted eight times between 2001 and 2006. This set covers data from the fifth to eighth repetition (2003 to 2006). The 2003 survey looked at the state of play and expected changes in the ten countries that joined the EU on 1 May 2004. After joining the EU, it was examined to what extent the expectations (or fears) of new citizens have really been met.
