Records of issued travel documents shall be kept and maintained for the purposes of verifying identity, nationality, crossing of the state border and for administrative procedures under the Travel Documents Act.
The records shall contain:
—surname and forename;
The date of birth and sex, if not specified;
—the birthplace;
—permanent residence;
—citizenship;
—the surname and forename, the EMŠO or, if not specified, the date of birth and sex, and the place of residence and signature of the legal representative;
—signature of a citizen who knows and is able to sign.
—diplomatic or consular title and function performed by a person in the event of the issue of a diplomatic or service passport;
—photo of the holder in digital form which cannot be read by devices for reading biometric data;
—the fingerprint(s) and the hand and fingerprint information (*fingerprints shall be kept in the record only until the travel document is served and then deleted from the record);
—data on children entered in the border laissez-passer and agricultural inputs (surname and first name, EMŠO).
In addition to personal data, the records of issued travel documents also keep data on
individual travel document issued to a specific individual:
—series and registration numbers of the travel document;
—the date and place of submission of the application;
—type and type of travel document;
—the method and date of service of the travel document;
—data on the date of issue, production and acceptance of the travel document at the post office;
—validity of the travel document;
—data on lost, missing and stolen travel documents;
—information on the prohibition or withdrawal of the travel document imposed;
—data on vision of the border laissez-passer (place and allowed time of crossing of the border of Slovenia with Croatia);
—data on the right to cross the border of Slovenia with Croatia at transit points, crossing points and direct border crossings;
—information on the reasons for issuing the agricultural input;
—data on issued border laissez-passer and agricultural inputs on the basis of the specific approval of the Permanent Mixed Commission for the Implementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia on Local Border Traffic and Cooperation (Article 54, paragraph 4 of the Agreement).
