The records of authorised radioactivity measurement providers contain data on legal persons who have obtained authorisation from the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Nuclear Safety in accordance with the Ionising Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Act (ZVISJV-1) and the Rules on Radioactive Monitoring (JV10) to carry out measurements of radioactivity and have equipment and written procedures for the implementation of radioactivity measurements. The data in this register are as follows:
— name and contact addresses of the contractor,
— the responsible person or legal representative,
— the date of issue and expiry of the authorisation; and
— method of radioactivity monitoring:
— type of radioactivity monitoring (operating, emergency, in the environment),
— field of radioactivity monitoring (environmental measurements, discharge measurements),
— scope of radioactivity monitoring (models measured by the operator)
— type(s) of measurement.
The authorisation shall be valid for five years. A record shall also be kept of the information to be provided by the Contractor in the procedure for obtaining or renewing the authorisation, and in particular:
— previous authorisation (in the case of renewal of authorisation),
— accreditation documents recognising compliance with the requirements of the standards
— supporting documents: on the registration of a company, on registration for carrying out activities, on the availability of measuring equipment and ensuring its capacity, and on participation in the comparative measurement programme and international intercomparation measurements.
Official records of authorised radioactivity measurement providers are kept by the Nuclear Safety Administration of the Republic of Slovenia on its website.
