Slovenian Public Opinion 2018/2

Within the framework of the Slovenian Public Opinion Research Programme (SJM) and the research roadmap, European Social Sciences Research — ESS wave 9 was carried out in 2018. The ESS is a scientifically based international research project. It sets up data sources to monitor the dynamics of social climate, attitudes and values in a changing Europe and ensures full inter-temporal comparability of data for more than 30 European countries. The survey includes a core block of questions about positions and estimates, which remains unchanged throughout the years and rotating (occasionally reproducible) specific thematic modules dedicated to specific themes and selected on the basis of international calls for tender for participation in the project. In addition to the core content module, wave 9 includes two specific thematic strands, namely: ‘life Path Planning (partial repetition of the 2006 module)’ and ‘Justice and Fairness’.
