Dataset description

The study was conducted on two levels: as a quantitative study of the value orientations and lifestyles of young people in Slovenia, which was part of the Yugoslav survey “Polay, Consciousness of the Young Generation of Yugoslavia”, as well as as a qualitative study in which the discourse on youth was analysed in the magazines Mladina and Tribuna, in the period 1945-1985 and deep interviews with representatives of social movements. The main objective of the quantitative study was to describe the living conditions, social situation, value orientations and practices of young people and to identify the fundamental factors of their formation.
