SIGNAL (Slovenia-Geodesy-NAvigation-Location) is the national network of permanent GNSS stations in Slovenia. The network consists of 16 permanent GNSS stations, distributed throughout the country. It represents the basis of the national geoinformation infrastructure. In combination with 0.order network and the national geodetic EUREF points forms the framework of the new Slovenian national coordinate system.
Users have a choice to select two types of SIGNAL Network Data:
- data of permanent GNSS stations are transmitted in a real time in a currently valid version of the RTCM format. Besides code and phase observation corrections, data about a permanent GNSS station are also transmitted.
- data of permanent GNSS stations are used for post-processing and transmitted in the form of RINEX files in the currently valid version of the RINEX format.
