Dataset description
A collection centre is a waste collection facility, including its pre-sorting and pre-storage for the purpose of transport to a waste treatment facility. Citizens can bring different types of separately collected waste there. Their broadcasting is mainly free of charge, and the broadcast of certain types is charged according to the price list. Collection centres are also intended for smaller legal entities, but only if they are included in the municipal waste management system.
In collection centres, the following may be submitted:
• Paper and paperboard, including packaging of paper and paperboard,
• Various types of glass, including glass packaging,
• Various packaging waste (plastic, metal, composite, styrofoam),
• Wood, including wood packaging,
• Plastic, metal, foil,
• Green garden waste (tree and shrub trimming, mowed grass),
• Bulky waste,
• Electrical and electronic equipment,
• Clothing, textiles,
• Waste edible oils,
• Hazardous waste from households,
• Construction waste from households (concrete, bricks, tiles, ceramics...).
