Andalusia’s colour orthophoto produced at a resolution of 50 cm, based on digital photogrammetrical flights in 2008, 0.22 metres geometric resolution for the south-east quadrant and 0.42 metres geometric resolution for the south-west quadrant.
Andalusia’s colour orthophoto produced at a resolution of 50 cm, based on digital photogrammetrical flights in 2009, 0.45 metres geometric resolution for the north-east quadrant and 0.45 metres geometric resolution for the Northwest quadrant.
These photogrammetrical flights were carried out as part of the draft National Plan for Air Orthography (PNOA).
The project is managed by the Ministry of Public Works, through the Directorate-General of the National Geographical Institute (IGN) and the National Geographical Information Centre (CNIg), coordinated with the Ministries concerned and with the Autonomous Communities and their competent ministries and bodies. the Directorate-General of the Institute of Cartography of Andalusia, belonging to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, is the body responsible for this matter.
Production is carried out in a decentralised manner by each regional team, the IGN being responsible for the final validation and integration of the resulting products.
