Andalusia ortho-photo (2013)

Andalusia’s colour orthophoto produced at a resolution of 50 cm, based on digital photogrammetrical flights in 2013, 0.45 metres of geometric resolution. These photogrammetrical flights were carried out as part of the National Plan for Air Orthography. The project is managed by the Directorate-General of the National Geographical Institute (IGN) and the National Geographical Information Centre (CNIg), both of which are part of the Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the other ministries concerned and with each Autonomous Community and its competent ministries (public works, agriculture, environment, etc.). Production is carried out in a decentralised manner by each regional team, the National Geographical Institute being responsible for the final validation and integration of the resulting products.
