Capa poligonal que representa la base digital de los ámbitos que constituyen los consorcios metropolitanos de transportes de Andalucía. Se genera con la intención de que sirva de referencia homogénea para labores de planificación de la Administración Autonómica. Pretende responder a las necesidades del "Plan de Infraestructuras para la Sostenibilidad del Transporte en Andalucía (PISTA 2007-2013)". Los datos, que se encuentran en formato shape a escala 1:100.000, se actualizan trimestralmente desde 2006 en la Consejería de Obras Públicas y Transportes, organismo responsable de la información.
