Images of the IRS (Indian Remote Sensing) satellite collected by the WIFS sensor (Wide Field Sensor), which have been calculated as the Maximum Decennial Value of the Standard Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI- Normalised Difference Vegetation Index), which is based on the contrast between the red and infrared bands close to the spectrum, highlighting the plant coverage and its vigour over extensive areas.
