Images of the NOAA satellite (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) captured by the AVHRR (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer) sensor, which is based on the contrast between the red and infrared bands close to the spectrum, highlights plant coverage and its vigour over large areas. It consists of 132 images from the year 1998 with a spectral resolution of 1 band and a spatial resolution of 1 100 m.
