TERRA satellite images captured by the MODerate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODerate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer), which is based on the contrast between the red and infrared bands close to the spectrum, highlights plant coverage and its vigour over large areas. The images have a single band and a spatial resolution of 250 m.
