Images captured by the ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer) sensor aboard the TERRA satellite (launched by NASA’s Earth Observing System (EOS)), which have 14 spectral bands, and range from the wavelengths of green to thermal infrared. It is equipped with the ability to provide stereoscopic vision (in the near infrared) for the creation of digital elevation models. The resolutions are 15 m in the VNIR (3+ 1 bands), 30 m in the SWIR (6 bands) and 90 m in the TIR (5 bands). They are in original format, with 1B processing level, so they have a first geometric correction. Year 2004.
