Dataset description
Buildings is a subject of Annex III of the Inspire Directive (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:L:2007:108:0001:0014:ES:PDF) and is a subject of Annex I, Geographical Reference Information, to the LISIGE Act(http://www.idee.es/resources/leyes/Ley_LISIGE.pdf)
The “Edificios” layer is part of a service WMS 1.3.0 of the Instituto Geográfico Nacional de España that complies with the definition of Inspire and its Implementing Rules in relation to the requirements of a display service and the type of symbolism to be used.
Generic buildings with surface geometry from BTN25 and headlamps from BTN100 are represented.
The display is performed through the style defined by Inspire in the Data Specification on Building (Data Specification on Building), as well as by a style defined by the IGN.
